EGYPTIAN DANCE IN LINCOLNSHIRE

Meet Selena...

Welcome to the brand new website dedicated to Egyptian Dancing. My name is Sylvia Green and I dance under the name of Selena.

I have been belly dancing for nearly seven years and my dearest wish is to pass on both my knowledge and passion of Egyptian Dancing to my students during lessons and workshops.

I first started Belly Dancing after seeing an advert in the local paper for a workshop. Once there, I was smitten with the whole concept of Belly Dancing including the music, the moves, the intricate isolations demonstrated and the gorgeous costumes worn. At the end of the session the tutor danced for us and moved her body in such a beautiful muscular snakelike way that I was determined to find out more about this fascinating dance.

Many happy years on, and with lots of experience under my Egyptian belt, I now teach dance, hold workshops and give demonstrations within the county of Lincolnshire. My students range in age from 10 years to 75 years. I am CRB checked and so you can be assured that your children are in safe hands.

GROUP BOOKINGS

Dance lessons can also be booked for groups in a variety of venues, including residential homes, village halls and day centres. The charge for group bookings is £25 per half hour (plus travelling expenses) or £35 one hour (plus travelling expenses).

DANCE WORKSHOPS

Workshops are held around the county and cost £15 per head (3 hour session).

DEMONSTRATIONS AND TALKS

I give demonstrations and talks at a number of different club, including the W.I., Probus, Ladies Rotary, Schools and in Day Centres. These sessions are charged at £35 per hour plus travelling expenses.
